Do I Need Makeup for my Headshot Session?
This is such a great question I frequently get and love to answer! Whether to have professional makeup for your headshot session depends on many things. Some people are just not comfortable doing their own makeup while others want a specific “look” for their headshot, and they don’t know how to achieve it themselves. Some folks don’t wear a lot of makeup daily, but they want to look their best for their headshot, and makeup can make a big difference in improving the professional look of your portrait while retaining your authenticity and personality. Makeup well applied looks natural and indiscernible!

Cost & Expectations
Makeup-$150
Hair styling + Makeup- $175
You will arrive 1 hour prior to your scheduled headshot session. The makeup application will take between 45-60 minutes. Hair styling + makeup will take 60 minutes. It’s best to arrive with no makeup on, but that is not always possible. Our artist will determine if you need to remove your makeup or if they can work to compliment what you have on. If you have opted for makeup + hair styling, please come with dry hair for the appointment!
