Do I need branding & lifestyle photos?

Well it depends on your wants and needs! It's great for small business owners, creatives, and executives to have versatile photos. Start thinking of what you will need photos for such as marketing, social media, and website. Lifestyle photography allows for more customization to enhance your branding and make it stand out.

What package is right for me?

Ask yourself why you are getting headshots or photos. Where do you plan on using these pictures? If you need just a simple image for LinkedIn, then look into our quick pick!

If you are needing more than that, then I highly recommend our Premium or Ultra session. These offers more outfits, backgrounds, and scenery to truly nail your aesthetic!

Should I bring props?

Mhmm! Please do as this will create story telling in your brand. The goal is to show your audience your value and incorporating personal touches like props really brings it all together.

Do you offer makeup services?

We sure do! There is the option for makeup or makeup + hair! This is another highly recommended add-on. It can elevate your look by adding that polished touch. Consider adding this option on your session!

How do I get my images?

We are living in fast times and all images will be delivered digitally! If you are needing prints, we do those too!

Do I get all my images?

Each package allows for a specific limit on photos that is included. Those are the ones that will be edited. You are able to purchase additional pictures beyond your package for retouching.

Can I have the unedited images?

We apologize, but we do not provide unedited photos as part of our services. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, polished images that represent both your professional brand and personal style effectively. Thank you for your understanding.

How do I prepare for my photoshoot?

Get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, and moisturize your skin leading up to the session.

Where will my session take place?

Minneapolis Headshots offers 2 studios! Our chic and bright Minnetonka location and an industrial moody NE Mpls location. We offer on-site locations as well for companies or individuals. Lifestyle has been a very increasing popular choice for folks as it gives a natural and candid feel.

How long does it take to get my photos?

Your quick pick session will allow enough time for you to select your 1 photo. This is a 3-5 business day turnaround time.

Premium, Ultra, or lifestyle sessions will include a proofing gallery to select your photos. Depending on how many photos are chosen it can be around 7-10 business days of a turnaround time.

Rush ordering is an option if you are in a time sensitive crunch!

What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?

Have no fear your photographer is here! Direction and guidance is offered throughout the entire photoshoot. Whether you are standing or sitting with a prop, everything will be intentional.

You are more than welcome to show example images that you like for inspo! We make sure nothing looks overly posed and stuffy!

Help! Do I need to cancel for a pimple?!

Our premium retouching will fix all imperfections, blemishes, or surprise cold sores. So relax we got you!

You will receive excellent care and our top-notch retouching.

What should I expect my photo to look like after editing?

This is a great question! Distractions in the background, skin is enhanced, blemishes will be removed, and all while still keeping your authenticity. Do worry, you will still look like you!

Do you back up your work?

Absolutely! It is a priority to us that your photos are safe. They will be backed up to multiple places for extra security. There is a $25 recovery fee to retrieve your archived photo 3 months after your session.

How I know if it's time to update my headshot?

Dated photos can work against you, especially if you're seeking work. It's recommended about every 3-5 years to update your photos. Another good time is if you drastically have changed your look with glasses or hair style/color.

Do you only offer professional & branding photography?

Grace most definitely does more! She loves doing families, couples, engagements, weddings, elopements and fashion/editorial! Feel free to reach out for those services if you are interested.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. My business is a registered LLC in the state of Minnesota and my business is covered with liability insurance.
